This months featured Scoot belongs to Richie Currie, known to the Club and on the forum as Scootkildare.

Richie comes from Kildare, Ireland.

I think you will agree that this is a stunning looking Mk 1 Vespa T5

Here is what he had to say about his pride and joy.

Scooters roots: "This is my 1989 T5,bought from Ebay in a plain green as you can see in old photo,totally stripped and most parts are brand new"

Modifications: "Brand new PX200 engine, PM Tuning pipe"

And what about that fantastic paint: "The paint is Kawasaki ZXR which was done in the UK in the early 90's, the Scooter eventually ended up in Ireland and I was one of many owners. I have since owned a ZXR and always loved that paintjob so I thought..why not paint it again.

Total cost: Approximately 4'500euro (£3'100)

Future plans: Engine tuning.
